TAKE CARE of YOUR CLOTHES.
I recommend washing jeans and elevated t-shirts in the gentle cycle. Hang them to dry. For drying, use mesh bags and a clothes rack. Get your items dry cleaned if they need it. These are simple ways to keep your clothes Women to Look Better great and last longer. You should hang everything you have in your closet to dry.
WARDROBE BUDDGET FOR FEWER HIGH QUALITY ITEMS
Even if you have to shop less, or buy fewer pieces. You will feel more stylish if you only buy a handful of high-quality pieces and not 10 that are less.
I would recommend solid colors if you want to spend less money on clothes. Avoid prints, as the item’s high quality will be more noticeable. Be sure to get the best craftsmanship for your money.
CONFIRM YOUR CLOTHES TO FIT.
A great way to look better is to ensure your clothes fit properly. “The #1 Secret To Style”, a video I made, explains how to choose the right clothes and how to make them fit.
Make sure the item fits well if it is a piece that you really love. A piece that is too big will make you look and feel terrible.
STEAM OR IRON YOUR COTTENESS CLOTHES.
Next style tip: Steam or iron your clothes. Your clothes will look much better when you iron them. I advise my clients to make sure they have somewhere in their closet for the items that must be steam steamed. Then steam them once a weeks and hang them up in your closet. This way, when you are getting dressed in a hurry or have less time, your clothes can be worn immediately. Your clothes will look neater if they are ironed or steamed.
MONOCHROME SPORT OUTFITS
I recommend wearing monochromatic outfits. You instantly look more expensive when you wear neutral monochromatic outfits, from head to foot. You can wear white, blush, ivory, cream or navy colors. Monochromatic outfits look great and can help you look better.
INVEST IN A CAPSULE WARDROBE.
I wish I had this fashion tip 20 years ago. It would have saved me so many heartaches and made it easier to get ready on-time for all the events I missed. A capsule wardrobe is a great way to make sure you look good no matter where you are or what you do. Your wardrobe’s foundation is built on quality closet staples.
My capsule wardrobe has changed my style the most. A capsule wardrobe does NOT mean that you have only 15 pieces. I have my 15 essential closet pieces, but I also have some other items that I love that aren’t in my capsule wardrobe. It’s a great tip to start with a capsule wardrobe.
BUY INEXPENSIVE WOMEN POLISH.
You don’t have to replace your leather boots, or shoes that have scuffs. Instead, you can polish your shoes inexpensively. You can make your shoes look brand new by polishing them.
FOR CLEANING YOUR SNEAKERS, USE WET WIPES.
Wet wipes are best for white sneakers. It’s the easiest way for sneakers to look cleaner.
PLAN YOUR OUTFITS DURING THE WEEK.
I wish I would have known to experiment with my clothes 20 years ago, when I was still trying to find my style. A fun and creative tip to look better is to plan your outfits each week. This tip would have saved so much time. To practice putting together outfits, I recommend that you plan for at least an hour.
When you are creating looks, note any missing or gaps. You can easily dress yourself by keeping a running shopping list. If you have an outfit, but no shoes to match it, you may be missing a pair of neutral sneakers. Make a note of this on your shopping list.
You can also make your look more polished by adding accessories to it. Unless you’re looking for bold jewelry, I’m not referring to statement jewelry. You can wear simple accessories, such as delicate gold- or silver-colored necklaces, bracelets and rings all day. Accessories can elevate any outfit and make it look better.
